In reference to marriage someone said to me, “If you want romance I'm not your guy.” I thought to myself, “What does romance got to do with marriage!” 

I stopped believing in prince charming at approximately age seven and a half. 

It can be frustrating when it comes to finding true love. I have in the past always seemed to have either liked someone more than they liked me, or the other way around. Sometimes That person likes me more than I like him.

Why does finding true love have to be so hard? Trust is part of the reason, but it also is sometimes the way we are conditioned as humans I think. Everyone always seems to what the life they do not have or the person they do not have. I wonder, why is that?

One time a counselor told me that I should learn how to be just friends with guys. If I hadn't listened to that person would I have been still single at age 37?

Is Friendship all that Matters, or does Romance Count?

I'm starting to wonder if romantic feelings are overrated. Maybe stability is more important to me now.
